How to Add SVG Icons to a Figma Project (Figma Quick Tip)

I have recently started to use Figma for my web design projects. If you are not familiar with Figma, it is software used for website and web application design. The benefit of using Figma is the ability to experiment with design revisions prior to making any code changes.

In this video I demonstrate how to copy and paste an SVG icon from a website and paste it into your Figma project. This saves a lot of time by not having to download a SVG file and then import into your project. This also makes it easy to experiment a redesign by making adjustments to existing icons used on a website or web application.

In this Figma tutorial you’ll learn:

  • How to add an SVG icon graphic to a Figma project
  • How to quickly horizontally align a row of icons
